Jakarta — The atmosphere at Lapangan Banteng Park on Tuesday (Aug 26) felt more fragrant than usual. The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of Jakarta Province hosted a training session titled “Crafting Your Personal Scent” (Meramu Aroma Diri), a creative learning program inviting participants to explore the world of aromatherapy—from raw ingredients to the hands-on practice of blending scents that reflect their personal character.

The event was officially opened by the Chairperson of DWP Jakarta, Mrs. Komariah Marullah, and was attended with great enthusiasm by participants from across the city. During the interactive session led by the Earthsensial team, participants learned the fundamentals of essential oils, the philosophy of scent, and how to blend natural ingredients into aromatherapy products that benefit both mind and body.

“We want to show that blending scents is more than just an artistic activity; it’s a business opportunity that can be developed from home. Nature-based products like aromatherapy have great potential to support the creative economy,” said a representative from Earthsensial.

Beyond introducing the benefits of essential oils, the training offered new insights into eco-friendly business opportunities rooted in local wisdom and Indonesian Ethnowellness practices.

Through this initiative, it is hoped that participants will be motivated to become more creative, embrace new challenges, and explore the potential of small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) centered on wellness and aromatherapy.
